Was here in Jan 16 - just posting this now as booking this years holiday and wanted to check back on last year and realised i didnt leave a review. Hotel in excellent position with ski bus stop outside and within wandering distance of town centre. The food is the star of the show - i reckon that even with...

We are guests via Crystal ski holidays and found this venue to be exceptional in regards to the food and staff service. For a budget holiday we did not expect our beds to be turned down every night and a sweet left on the pillow and nor did we expect rooms to be cleaned immaculately every day. This hotel aims...

Highly recommended. Room excellent, hotel clean, staff friendly, host helpful and food superb. Lovely small hotel, well situated for ski areas. Adjacent to main bus route and just a few minutes to the bus stops. Gressoney St Jean is a pleasant small town with some picturesque buildings.

We have just returned from a week skiing in the Gressoney area based at Hotel Gressoney in Gressoney Saint Jean. This village is located at the mid point between Weismatten ski area and the larger Stafal lifts. With regular buses running between them, it's the perfect base. The village is also lovely, very pretty and in a beautiful location with...

The Gressoney is a fabulous hotel set in magnificent scenery. It is particularly well run by the most charming host Renzo who speaks multiple languages fluently and with whom I enjoyed conversing in my native French. His personality shines through the wonderful detailing and arrays of interesting artefacts and memorabilia all around you in the cozy public areas. His staff...

We went as a mixed group of skiers, some down hill and some cross country. The down hill is mainly intermediate level with some long runs. The cross country loops are just by the hotel, there is also a snow shoe trail. The ski bus does stop across the road from the hotel so isn't a hassle. The hotel itself...

Nice, well run hotel with very friendly and attentive service. Food choices each night were good too. Only some rooms have baths so if this is important to you you must specify first. The hotel is a ten or 20 minute ride from the two main skiing centres. You must catch a bus that leaves from outside the hotel but...

Spent a wonderful ski week at this charming, small, modern hotel in Gressoney St Jean. Good internal architecture and spacious bedrooms, stunning views from the restaurant, combined with excellent friendly service from Renzo and his team made the week stress free. The food is good with plentiful choice although the breakfast buffet contains many items you might not normally associate with breakfast....

Great alpine style hotel with great italian restaurant, good staff and lovely view on near mountains. I was at wedding there, and food was great. Typical local cuisine with local wines, so delighted with choise of local cheeses. Hotel is located in the centre of willage. There is a private parking in front of it.

We stayed here booking last minute with Crystal and had a great time. The free ski bus stops just outside the hotel and takes 20 minutes to get to Stafal. You need to make sure you check the times carefully as you can only really get on the free ones with skis and boots and also not as many run...
