We spent a wonderful week in one of the Masseria's Trullis and we loved every minute of it. The tasteful rooms, the fantastic garden, the peaceful evenings with a glass of wine in front of our little hideaway, the cats and the homemade cake for breakfast. The beds are extremenly comfy - you sleep like a baby since the temperature...

We stayed in a beautiful trulli which had been very sympathetically restored. It was in very good condition with a great quality bathroom and furniture and made for a very comfortable stay. The owners were great hosts and made fresh cakes for breakfast which was a real highlight. Each morning Marta would discuss our plans with us and recommend places...

Marta and her husband who renovated this traditional Trulli home in Locorotondo were amazing to us and our family. We arrived later in the evening and greeted us with a warm hello, extending herself by helping us get settled. The room was large for three of us and a special second floor Trulli loft for our daughter. Nice bathroom and...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in Masseria Serralta in May 2016. Marta is a great host who works hard to help ensure you have a good time and is very knowledgeable about local sites, restaurants etc - and always ready with a suggestion or advice. The Trulli is really well positioned - very close to Locorotondo (which is...

After spending a hectic week in the Sorrento- Amalfi Coast - Naples area, this was the perfect opposite. As you see from reading other reviews, the restoration of the trulli masseria is a work of art. It sits on top of a hill with a commanding view of Locorotondo. There are five rooms to choose from. We stayed in Sandy...

The Serralta-team, Martha and her husband and Anna, are fantastic hosts. Always available when you need them. The Masseria is wonderfull and restored to traditional standards. The room offers all wanted modern comfort. Though I am tall, I did not mind the lower doors at all. Relaxing at the pool is a must. The Masseria is situated on a hill...

What a charmingly restored Masseria run by Marta, Anna and co. Really, I cannot fault the place; clean, comfortable, quiet - I echo all the sentiments expressed by other TA reviewers. Also close to Locorontondo - certainly one of the loveliest towns we have visited in Puglia sporting some of the better restaurants including Bina and U Cordunn. The area...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Masseria Serralta Bed&Breakfast is a converted old Apulian rural settlement. Situated in one of the highest parts of the Murgia plateau in the heart of Valle d'Itria, it is a remarkable example of a traditional 17th Century trulli complex recently restored. In order to respect the original layout, the B&B is set up for a small number of guests. You will stay in a real trullo - declared heritage sites by UNESCO - caressed by the cooling breeze of the hill. The four spacious suites and apartments are furnished with balance between the tradition and the modern and are in direct connection with the surrounding countryside bordered by walls of dry stones. An outdoor swimming pool is set among the olive trees looking at the below valley. ... more   less
