This is a well run hotel with all staff friendly and effective. The location was good for business meetings, rooms clean and functional and the food excellent I think the outdoor pool area could do with an upgrade Would definitely stay again

Some of my colleagues and I had to travel to Cape Town to support a customer in Bellville and needed suitable accommodation. Since one of our colleagues came from overseas we elected to stay in a hotel rather than our preferred B&B. Our reception was good, the rooms were organised and mine was clean. However my bedside light didn't work... More

My family and I were impressed on arrival. The staff was helpful, the property well kept, rooms well decorated and spacious. On our last night I ordered pizza from the in-house restaurant to delivered to my room. Finding a candy wrapper inside the box on the pizza was a horror. I questioned the food hygiene of the establishment, the assistant... More

Although situated in a busy area Durbanville it is actually in a quiet location and very central for exploring cape Town and surrounds. We visited the Barnyard theatre on the Friday night just down the road and on Saturday we did the Dubanville wine route. However it is not far from the airport and all major routes to see the... I recently spent 2 nights at the Protea Hotel in Durbanville, and had a really nice customer experience. The location near Bellville was very convenient for me, with five minute rides to the office in light traffic. That really helped alleviate some of the stress one feels in Cape Town in particular, and my journey from the office to the... More

Very lovely establishement, spacious double apartment rooms, good heating facilities as well. Nestlened in a quite calm area. Lesson learned here though is to pre book sitting at the resturant or the wait will be long and unbearable.

If you are looking for a good base in Durbanville then this hotel does the job well. The rooms are not luxurious but have all the available facilities and are comfortable. The food menu is good and the outside area is nice to sit out in the evening.

This hotel was easy to find and close to a facility we had to visit. The room was clean but very small. My daughter and I had to unpack clothes into the kitchen cupboards because the cupboard was so small. Although it had a small kitchen, strangely there were no crockery or cutlery. We had to request a 2nd bath... More

Overall I'd say staying here is a pleasant experience, I stay in many hotels on my travels and this is certainly not the worst. Rooms are basically like holiday apartments, spacious and clean.
