If you're looking for a bed to sleep in and a breakfast with friendly service this Nutmeg will provide you with what you are looking for. The dogs mentioned in other reviews are friendly and very good with children.

We stayed for 2 days as a base for our Sani Pass day trip. We got two outside rooms, they were spacious and clean, no problems whatsoever. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of hot food. The location is good, close to some nice restaurants (Little Mozambique was our favorite). We payed R330 per person, which is fair.

This was somewhat nasty experience. Firstly, there are a multitude of dogs running about all over the place, and the smell of dogs is everywhere. Also, the room style is outdated and looked and smelled like someone had done up their granny's room for a relative to stay. Linen was not overly clean, somewhat stained, and did not smell fresh,...
