We had a few days of work in San Jose and decided about a week in advance to add on a visit to the Marina Ballena area. I have a prejudice here: I proposed to my amiga (she said yes) on the deck of Bungalow 10 so Mar Y Selva will always be a special place to us. We also...

Very nice, clean. Excellently managed! Owners are caring about guests (e.g. counting returning cars at night, asking actively about feedback). Good tips for excursions. Centrally located to visit southern and mid Pacific. Would return and can strongly recommend the place!!!

Pure luck brought us to this wonderful place. Walks in the jungle, monkeys playing by the pool, gorgeous beaches nearby. Althought there are plenty of activities to do... we mostly stayed around the hotel. We found tranquility, serenity and comfort. The hotel is beautiful. Martha, the owner, sets a great vibe. Her staff is wonderful and hearthwarming. They went out...

We were the inaugural guests at the lodge! (and now the first to write a Trip Advisor review.) The lodge opened in December. It has 10 detached, spacious cabins with wonderful amenities and decor - jacuzzi bathtub, refrigerator, cable tv, local wooden furniture and photographs of local flora and fauna. The best was the picture window and private deck, which...
