Barbara and John are lovely, warm, and experienced hosts who take pride in this magnificent manor home and it's surrounding property. Our room was large and comfortable, bathroom was again, large, very clean. Barbara & John were gracious hosts and very eager to help with directions, suggestions, and comments! This home is a short 10 minute train ride into Galway, which...

From the minute we arrived to Athenry we experienced the incredible amount of kindness and welcoming vibe. John was so kind to pick us up from the train station upon our arrival and even went through the trouble of taking us to Galway when our stay in the farm was over. We stayed a week in the Clarin Cottage, a...

We stayed in the Barn cottage which was just behind caheroyan house. The land is beautiful and quiet (just what we wanted). They have lovely grounds to walk around and horses and donkeys to feed. Barbara was so nice and was there if we needed anything. The Barn cottage was everything you can expect for a country cottage. Thanks for...

Barbara and John were so warm! Just took the time to talk to my friend and I about their beautiful property, the farm & animals. The whole property was beautiful. Our "tour guide" was a duck who walked with us down to see the horses, donkeys & cattle. We spent 2 nights with Barbara & John who treated us splendidly!...

We stayed with Barbara and John last May for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Loved the gardens with lots of bluebells, the peat fire in the morning, the comfortable and lovely room and the tales Barbara shared with us. Nights were very peaceful as their home is set back from the main road and surrounded by trees. We...

We stayed here September 13, 2015. What a gem! The owner was so friendly and kind, and the property is utterly beautiful. I would highly recommend it for couples or even families. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed walking through the farm and woodlands. Caheroyan House is right in Athenry, which is a magical place - so...
