Very small poor quality rooms. The rooms, especially the bathrooms need a really good clean. As for the toilets in the restaurant... My goodness!!, I have seen service station loos that are cleaner, absolutely disgusting!!!! get cleaning and use some bleach!.

Seemingly popular hotel on a a busy main road. Exterior looks welcoming with Christmas lights still adorning the large tree outside the main entrance. Small reception area staffed by 2 friendly but busy folk and check in was straight forward. I found my room was right by the lift and when entering was greeted by the regular sound of what...

Visited for our work Christmas do and I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere, staff, food, everything was amazing. Can't fault it. The organisation beforehand was so well done also. Will be booking for next year definitely x

I am coeliac & we went into this hotel for lunch whilst waiting for others. It was absolutely freezing inside & we were shown to a small table in an even colder area - while later I realised that it was getting colder still, only to find the outside door had been left open. This was on a freezing day...

Seasonal set menu, with good food and plenty of it. There were 5 of us and the choices suited everyone. This is a suitable venue for families. The staff were very attentive and cheerful. On leaving it was delightful to see the place lit up.

Very bland, asked for GF roast and came out with a yorkshire and non-GF gravy. Felt the restaurant was not ready for us when we arrived, even though booked, was busy, but not overly busy. A shame, could do better

I organised a walk followed by lunch at the hotel for nearly 30 people. They could not have been more helpful with the arrangements. Despite it being the busy Christmas season they were happy for us to make varied choices across 3 different menus, and provided name cards with our choices. Long tables were arranged in the large but cosy...

We met here for here for an early family Christmas meal. The food was very good, the staff very efficient and attentive and the ambience was very festive. A nice place to be. We had space, but the hotel was busy.

It has made me want to return though. Very friendly staff, good food at good prices. Lots of parking. Pretty Christmas decorations. Yes well worth another visit. Attention to how the food looked on the plate was good as well, not just served up any old how.

I had the privilege to stay few nights at the King's. The room was very cosy, all the essentials in. A tea/coffee spot well assorted with cookies! A large flat-screen tv with sky box all loads of channels in it. The bathroom was spotless, with the complimentary towels, shower gel and shampoo, bathmat, plenty of tissues, toilet paper and of...
