Thank you for your enquiry. We have spoken with the church warden regarding the possibility of retro-fitting a device to silence the clock during the night and hope to progress something with them. The clock chiming may disturb light sleepers only. Many residents have commented to us that they didn't hear a thing. The rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter and may be a better option for you if you are considering booking with us. Best wishes, Lisa
