This is our second visit and we stayed in the Storeroom on both occasions. The whole place is wonderful - the room, dinner and breakfast and the hosts Neil and Jane. Lovely touches in the room such as fresh coffee, cakes and chocolates. We travel a lot and have stayed in loads of different hotels and BnBs over the years...

Five star welcome, food and room! We stopped on our way to the Lake District and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Workshop room was fantastic and wonderfully romantic- log burning stove and a huge copper bath which was so comfortable I didn't want to get out. The evening meal and breakfast were also of an extremely high quality.

I wasn't too well when I visited but I was really warm and comfortable. The food is superb! I hope to do it more justice when we next visit, which I hope won't be too long! We noticed how very quiet it was, which made for a restful sleep. Thank you Jane and Neil

We stayed here on our way back from Inverness, and couldn't have been happier, walking in to a roaring welcoming fire was just the start. The attention to detail was brilliant, the rooms are all really cosy, quirky and well thought out. The food, both breakfasts and dinner, sweet and savoury, were really delicious with locally sourced produce. It was...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Storeroom bedroom, which was lovely. The house is full of character and quirkiness and we got to see the waterwheel in action which was fascinating. Evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. Good hill walking is nearby with spectacular views (and very deep snow on this particular occasion!) We...

Stayed for three nights in this wonderful converted old mill. The hosts Neil and Jane were friendly and very helpful with Neil providing details of some fantastic walks. The homemade and local produce helped to create a special breakfast and the evening meal was a very high standard and excellent value for money. In our spacious room there was a...

We stayed at Low Mill Guest House for one night as part of our trip around Wensleydale. Not sure how you start a review about such a quirky, eclectic, weird & wonderful place. There is so much to see and everywhere you look there is something of interest. Neil and Jane have done a fantastic job of restoring the mill....

Spent the night at Low Mills and we were very impressed with every aspect of our short stay. The building is steeped in history and has been lovingly renovated making it as comfortable as it is interesting. The owners could not have made any more effort to be attentive and cater for our every needs, particularly around some dietary requirements....

We have stayed at Low Mill many times over the last five years and never get tired of staying in the same accommodation in the same village. This speaks volumes for Neil and Jane and Dotty and their commitment to excellent service, and there suburb attention to detail and pride in their accommodation. Couple this with excellent Food and Wine...
