Room was spacious but kinda dusty, maybe its due to a long period of vacant, but overall we have a great time, Breakfast spread was good and the service render to us by the restaurant staffs was beyond great. They show great attentiveness to our needs. Great work guys even though we know that you are busy.
The hotel has a great ambience and location, but need a lot of changes in order to compete with the nearby hotels brand. This is something the owner and management should look into.

Mudzaffar looks like they are a hotel training academy specialising in aiming at generating as many as guest complaints as they can possibly get. What they actually do with the complaints is anyone’s guess: probably classify them under OSA. These are the training areas that we experienced:
1. Air-conditioning in lobby not functioning. Probably for vocational trainees under find the cause. Or for finance officers on how to brutally reduce cost.
2. Inadequate staff to handle concierge. Designed for managers who can see the effects
3. Shops not opened. For time management trainees to see relationship between opening hours and revenue
4. Toilet with no hand drying facilities. For maintenance staff is and why the floor and door knobs are wet
5. Late check in: Staff learning to admit guests strictly at 3pm check in time despite hotel near empty on Sunday at 2:00pm
6. Slip shod construction. Meant for building students to see how to frustrate a 5-star claim
7. Room: 2 pillows for a double bed. Not even one extra in the cupboard. TV no reception until a few hours passed by. Room painted, no wall paper. Shower water pressure low. They give only one key card. All for trainees to evaluate the savings made.
8. Upon reaching the room there were 4 plates left by previous guest by the door. When we came back from dinner at 9pm, they were still there. Called reception and they casually replied “we will send someone to clear them” unperturbed by what happened. That off the cuff reply proves training works at this Academy.
In all the Mudzaffar Hotel Training Academy is highly recommended for those who are into the academics. Not for a real hotel guest with out of norm expectations of staying in a hotel for comfort and rest.
then in the suite, master bedroom only got 2 pillow. i asked the reception, it was suppose to be 4 pillow per room. requsted pillow to house keeping, but never recieved. house keeping said a lot of other guest requested for extra pillow, so they dont have enough. but why i only get 2 when it was supposed to be 4?. i got 2 small kid, we really need that pillow.
during breakfast, the girl at the counter was so rude. no greeting, no smile and no manners. i went in there, stated my room number and she replied " bagi kupon" without looking at me in a rude tone. when we left, my mother smile at her but then she just looked away.
Plug point far from bed
No a/c at lobby. so hot.
No blower in lift
No pool towel
some staff need to train how to treat and talk to guest.
please improve guest experience and staff treatment. you are 5 stars hotel.
but the food was really good. two thumbs up. keep it up.

But 2 things should be seriously been checked by the hotel management. On the last day before i went out for work, we realised the hotel room door can be opened without keycard, and although its locked from inside (without latched) it can still be open by anyone from outside!
As its already few hours to checkout,we didnt care much, but another incident happen while my wife alone in the room after i went out. Around 11am,the door being open by someone, twice! Luckly my wife put the latch on. If anything happen who want to take the responsibility on that?????
And luckily no personal item lost during our night out for dinner. My wife have inform your reception during checkout, and im writing this to ensure the info receive by the management as well. Pls check and improve as guest safety should be your utmost priority.

The reception was very slow. Check in was quite late. Not helping was the too bright lobby. No apologies other than 'the previous guests checked out late'.
The corridors are wide and nice. The room, spacious enough. But the two pillows they gave us was quite miserable looking, the duvet thin and the dovet cover torn! The hotel room itself looked incomplete. It does not have any wall decos, no customary tablelamps on the bedside tables and wasn't very cosy. There was no glasses to put in our toothbrushes (thank God we brought our own because the hotel did not provide any), no robes, no slippers ... the exterior building look 5star but the room is so sad.
Breakfast was just passable. The muffin was quite horrible, I did not finish it, and I hate food wastage. There was a protuding nail under the chair, it caught my very loved (and expensive) skirt and made a hole in it. I was so pissed. I complained and I hope something was done about it.
Checking out was very slow, even though there were only two people at the counter. The younger staffs seemed to be clueless about everything and the more senior staffs are lacking in manners. They should take lessons from the bellboys and learn to smile. The original plan was to spend 3 nights here, but we headed to another hotel for the 3rd night. We wanted to rest in a 'real' hotel.
For that's how this hotel feels like to us, like it is a hotel in training. The staffs looked like they are lacking skills, and it's such a pity because the traditional ideas and elememts in this hotel is lovely.
