I am consider myself a pretty experienced surf tourist, visiting Costa Rica 10 times, Nicaragua twice, Puerto Rico 14 times, with annual trips to Hawaii, but I had the most fun staying at Mizata Point Resort in El Salvador. The surf is definitely one of the reasons - it's an uncrowded, rippable right hand point break. But you probably already...

Hard to leave when the surf pumps everyday, food is fantastic, staff is great, rooms are awesome and location is breathtaking! I will be back again, and highly recommend to anybody. Also, the beachbreak has fun empty, rippable peaks too at higher tides.

Mizata Point Resort was just the retreat I was looking for. Beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable beds, incredible ocean views, easy access to fantastic surf, delicious food breakfast, lunch, and dinner...the entire experience strikes a perfect balance between comforts of home and getting away from it all. George and the entire staff were incredible host. They did all the little...

George and his staff were great. The resort is clean, quiet and has an amazing right hand point break right out front. The food was fantastic and there was always plenty of cold beer waiting for you after a long surf session. If you are looking for something more quiet and peaceful or something less crowded as El Tunco then...

Beautiful property, all of the rooms face the ocean and are right in front of the surf. Rooms were clean and pretty big with a great front porch(ice cold AC too). Hospitality was great, food was fantastic. This place exceeded my expectations. Never felt unsafe. Mizata is tiny, not a lot to do aside from surf beach and pool, but...

This was our second trip to El Salvador and it was another good one. This time we stayed at Mizata Point Resort and enjoyed our time there. We had an ocean front room which was large and clean. The food here is excellent. Not sure which was better the surf break or the staff both of which are top notch....

Loved this place- quite romantic- beautiful beach, lovely views- our room was large and comfortable - loved the shower too! Great infinity pool with beautiful ocean views. Lots of hammocks :). This is a very quiet and relaxing place. I took a couple of surf lessons here- it's the perfect beach for beginners! Also great for more advanced surfers. I...
