We stayed here with our friends group for 2 nights on an Eiffel weekend tour. The hotel was picked because one member of our group needs to swim every day for her health and the good reviews on Tripadvisor. However I felt the place no more than average, specifically because of the old fashioned rooms and the hefty 100 euro...

Staying in the small family-runned hotel Haus Diefenbach is a pleasure in many ways! Host Gaby Bongartz makes it very easy for you to feel at home immediately. Rooms are very clean, and breakfast is the way you want it in Germany: excellent. In addition there is an indoor swimming pool and a small sauna. One of the best places...

We spent a week end there, 4 adults and a child under 3 and I would love to come back. We wanted to be in the area of Eifel National Park and chose Haus Diefenbach, which more than fulfilled our expectations. It is a family run, cosy pension between countryside and upmarket, elegant in some aspects, more modest in others...

On the hillside above the village, the notebooks out onto the town and the surrounding forest. The drive way is steep but restricted to motorcycles only, allowing secure and out of sight parking. Outside seating is lovely. Local beer is amazing. The decor is quirky but stylishly done. Rooms are all clean, bright, beautifully appointed with big comfortable beds.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Very complete breakfast to start the last day of hiking the Wildnis Trail. Rooms are basic but provide everything you'll need. Swimming pool and sauna available. Location is a bit out of the center but with nice views. on minor, the water in the room is not complementary.

We stayed here last week for two nights and had a very pleasant time! The view from our balcony was fantastic. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast provided is very good and the view from there is also lovely. It's a lovely quiet location but in easy reach of a supermarket and plenty of restaurants.

Very friendly reception. Rooms are old skool German style with a wooden finish everywhere. Bathroom and television were recently renovated. Beds are small and blankets are tiny. We got two tiny blankets as a couple. It was chilly at night. Breakfast is really extensive and variated. The view is awesome and is located near the Rursee.

We stayed for one night only, but next time we'll definitely plan a longer break here. The place is really nice, owner is very friendly and helpful and of course the area is simply stunning. The hotel is located close to the nature with great views from the rooms.

We arrived by train which in itself was a pleasant journey from London via Brussels, Aachen and Duren. We rang the hotel from the station and they arranged for us to be picked up in just a few minutes. The owners made us feel very welcome as did the other hotel guests. The accommodation was a log cabin in the...
