Okay, we knew it is dangerous to go back to a place where you have very good memories of, that the risk of disappointment is rather big. However, we did go back and yes, it was a little disappointing. First of all we had a very small room. And what's more: the kitchen was closed. But: the room was very...

We stayed one night at this family-owned hotel-agritourism and were very happy. The owner was very welcoming, nice and enthusiastic and he was knowledgeable of the history of Schignano (he also told us the story of the name of the agritourism which was very intriguing!). We got a room with an impressive view over Lake Como; the room was very...

This felt to be a very authentic experience. A lovely family environment with an incredibly genial atmosphere, warm warm welcome and a beautiful room to sleep in. We had food which was lovely, getting to be involved in a party for a local who had just returned from competing in the London Olympics. Organisation isn't quite the strongest point of...

La zoca offers wonderful views on lake Como which is about 15 minutes drive downwards. It is a great place to stop over towards the south of Italy. We stayed on our way back home and accidentally found the Swiss border and wonderful views on Lago lugano via a small road leading here. The road is definitely worth taking and...

Once we got there we were immediately surprised by the stunning view over the lake! A very nice place with an interesting history - the host (extremely kind and welcoming) will surely be happy to tell the tale :) If you stay there overnight, make sure you book dinner or lunch! Price is very affordable but quality is definitely not...

We stayed here with our 3 kids for only one night while traveling to tuscany. Our navigation system guided us through a very small city close by where we had to turn as the road was too small to go trough (at least we thought so). So, we suggest to drive further to como (coing from the north) and then...

We have stayed at La Zoca di Strii for 3 wonderful nights. After having a great dinner here last year we decided this year to stay here for a few nights. Our stay was very good. The agriturismo is out of the buzz of the Como lake road about 7 kilometers into the mountains. On this special location you get...

La Zoca di Strii is one of the greatest places we ever stayed in. If you 're looking for a piece of mind , this is the right place. Look no further. The establishment is very cozy and well maintained. Very clean rooms with a breathtaking view of the lake Como. Close to the church of the village with the...

Having stayed at La Zoca, I was impressed with the slow pace of life in the area, where my family and I could enjoy the magnificent view in piece and quite. The warm welcome and great food were a cherry on the cake. Adrian [Malta]
