Beautiful hotel. My second stay. Staff and locals very friendly. A bit off the beaten track, but that's what I like about it. Pool, facilities all excellent. Well worth a visit. Breakfast delivered to my room which was more than adequate. Lots of bars and restaurants, all within five minutes walk.

The small town is pleasant and historically interesting, with sufficient bars and restaurants to have some quality food. It's a 1 - 2hr drive from Barcelona and makes a good late night stop to avoid the city bustle. However there are several other spa type hotels that appear far better suited to those not taking some therapeutic treatment at the...

Dear 612hillad, we are sorry that you didn't like our hotel style, in fact it's a protected monument of our town for its modernist style. On the other hand, we are glad to hear our location was ideal and sincerely hope you had a wonderful time exploring our village. We note your comments to improve in certain items. Best regards.

My husband and I stayed just one night to escape the craziness of Barcelona during tourist season. This was the perfect place to do that, it was very relaxing. There was a pool open to all guests and a large patio and grass garden with lawn chairs. The pool was open until 11pm which was wonderful. I think we visited...

Hotel was used for a short stay on a recent business trip. The room was one of the flats at the rear of the hotel and would be ideal for self catering families. Decent heated swimming pools - indoor and outdoor. Never ate evening meals in the hotel but plenty of Tapas bars and restaurants close to hotel. Breakfast was...

I had two rooms and a big bathroom. Room very well, but old. Room was clean but one day there was toilet paper missing and the other day a towel. The cleaning services could be much better. Pool inside and outside with thermal water, I assume 30 degrees warm, very nice. The SPA I haven't tried out, but is looking...

I booked a 4 night break here for my birthday. I had done all the research and new it was about an hour so away from the center. We asked someone for information in the train station at the airport , who didn't know where it was. In the end we got lost and had to take a taxi, €55...

We stayed here for a wedding at La Baronia (20 mins away). Rooms were clean, and had all you needed. Hotel is quirky (thousands of owl models and ornaments), staff are polite, there is a lift so accessibility is good. Best if you speak Spanish as not all the staff spoke English. We were a little confused as to what...

The hotel is a little dated, yet the apartments (in a separate building) are fairly new. We had a duplex apartment, nicely build, very clean. The pool is half indoor, half outdoor, and heated. Clientele is mostly Spanish elderly.

Caldes de Montbui, only 30 km's out of Barcelona is a nice place to visit. World's away from Barcelona's Disneyland with it's quite literally hordes of tourists, there's hardly a foreigner who visits here. Caldes lends it's tourism attraction to the existence of natural hot springs and it's historical ties dating back to the times Romans were the lords of...
