What a great job the Owners have done with this hotel. Small yet quaint boutique hotel on the Camino. The front desk person was not very friendly but the evening person was just delightful and helpful. Rooms were wonderfully appointed. Close to old town and start of Camino.

The hotel is full of atmosphere. Our room was a little small, but well appointed. Service was helpful. The breakfast was of good quality. The hotel is a rest point for people hiking and cycling on St James Way to Santiago de Compostela.

This is an interesting hotel on the Camino route but rather difficult to find if you come into town on the valley route for the Camino. In fact, after a really hard day over 30 kms of hills I got lost and found the tourist information centre and a lovely lady who spoke beautiful English pointed me in the right... More

The staff were welcoming. The room was well appointed. I loved the shower gizmo. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh orange juice and fresh homemade applecake and other cakes plus a good selector of fresh fruit. The hotel is located right on the pilgrim route.

Two of us stayed here after a very tough 30 km stage on the Camino in the height of summer. The small town is a lovely place to break one's Camino and the main church is beautiful. The room is very good indeed, with a very comfortable bed and a great bath to soak in. The location is right on... More

My husband and I stayed here after our first day of hiking El Camino in Sept. Our room was lovely with a modern beautiful bathroom. My husband, unfortunately became ill during the evening. The staff was so kind and concerned. We extended our stay by another night so he could recuperate. I can not say enough good things about Terri... More

This was the hotel we stayed in after our first day of hiking the Camino de Santiago. After a 15 mile hike, this hotel was perfect. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was excellent. They were very helpful with our bags and a late checkout. They were located in a great part of town.

I really enjoyed my stay here because the atmosphere was nice and quiet. I had a room with a balcony that opened out to look at the street. The bathroom shower deserves it's own post because there were all kinds of shower output options (rain, wand, jets). The only mild concern was that I could hear my neighbors talking, but... More

“Some rooms may be quieter - the old town works around the place so people are going home or getting to work & calling to each other maybe a bit later than you would like - minor problem for us.”
