This rural hotel, built on an ancient XVII century rural farmhouse, subtly combines modern aspects of modern and minimalist decor, with the typical features of a building of its time. Without doubt, make this place a true boutique hotel.

Stayed here for three nights whilst watching La Vuelta in the mountains. The festival weekend and our itinerary meant we didn't sample the restaurant, but the room was excellent and the breakfast simple but really good as well. Friendly staff.

We were 2 couples hiking the Camino Primitivo. We arrived to find the hotel closed for a few minutes as the staff was running errands, so the owner came to meet us, then took us into Grado and coached us where to find dinner as the hotel restaurant was closed Mondays. Then came back to pick us up after dinner!!!! We offered to pay him and he said he would put the money in the staff tips kitty. The hotel was beautiful, beautifully situated in the hills over Grado, and immaculately clean. We stayed a second day when the restaurant was open. The meals were superb, and they even set us up to eat in the bar so we could watch the women's World Cup. Our gratitude to Ana, who joyfully went out of her way to make our stay delightful! Thank you

Very friendly hotel, we stayed in a small 1 bedroom Apartment. 2nd bed in sitting room. Very cosy, with Kitchenette, fridge/freezer etc.., simple continental breakfast included. Very friendly staff. No English spoken. Nice comfy bar. Whole hotel décor very homely and with an eclectic mix of photos, art and antique furniture.

This is a very interesting hotel. It is filled with antiques and curiosities and the rooms are quite tastefully decorated. The rooms are OK and the bathrooms nice. The dining room is quite beautiful and the food was great. The staff working at the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Check-in at an odd hour was instantaneous. I arrived soaking wet from hiking the Camino Primativo in the rain and was immediately offered a nice fat stack of old newspapers to dry my boots (peregrinos will understand) and my room was excellent. I'm over 6' tall so many beds in Spain are just short of comfortable. This was full sized. Excellent wifi, beautiful view and fantastic shower completed the accommodations. Downstairs, the lounge area is small but very warmly decorated and it put all of us waiting for dinner hour to begin in great moods. Dinner was great, and the dining room spectacular. The young woman who was serving dinner was as charming as she was efficient. Breakfast was included and it was the usual Spanish desayuno; coffee, toast, juice. They offered yogurt as well which was nice. If you're walking the Camino Primativo, El Lacayo is about a km off the route - uphill. That of course means a great view, and downhill back to the Camino in the morning.
