Agree with everything here regarding the quality of the building and amenities. If you want somewhere medium size, right by the sea, but with protected pool and sunbathing area, well designed rooms - then this works in every way. We stayed on the upper floor and had great views of the sea. The area between the hotel and the sea...

The only thing that is horrible is the breakfast. It is possibly the worst food I have had in my life. It is not worth getting the breakfast with the hotel and your better off going into town and getting a decent meal.

This hotel is fantastic, it's beautifully designed and it's obvious that a lot of care has gone into making all areas feel comfortable. The staff were absolutely outstanding and made our stay wonderful - from the bartenders making excellent prsonalised cocktails to the receptionist going out of her way to find help for us when our car wouldn't work. Can't...

Would need car / taxi to visit other areas. Not suitable for older persons unable for hills. Wonderful sunsets to be seen from Puerto de las Nieves...

There is one word to describe the experience we had in Roca Negra: WOW! Upon arriving in Gran Canaria the very industrial part of the city is the first that you notice. A 40 minute drive and you arrive in Agaete which looks very different from Las Palmas. The buildings are all white and give the impression of a Greek...
