We have accommodation in Mosa Trajectum for six weeks and it's a great base. Our communal pool is just outside the door and the neighbours are lovely. The small villa is clean and pleasant to live in, has efficient air conditioning and is spacious and modern.
We didn't come here expecting entertainment onsite but there is a bar run by a couple of fun Dutch ladies who do Saturday community dinners, paella last week.
Mosa Trajectum is protected by security so we can leave our car open if we like and don't have to worry about thieves too much.
The unused golf courses offer pleasant walks for the dogs with beautiful landscaping in cactus and acacia trees and it's hot, hot, hot but hey, this is Spain, frypan of Europe. We are not far from Murcia, Cartagena, Alcazares, Torrevieja and Alicante so if you're coming here you need a car. We drove down through France from Roscoff.
This is not a place for young party goers but there are lots of beaches and two top quality bar / delicatessens within ten minutes with tapas to die for. Mosa Projectum is a great bolt hole, a pleasant protected place to retreat.
Reading some of the previous comments we feel these people must live in a different world from us. They have not enjoyed the real Mosa Trajectum. If you want more information and/or access to very reasonably priced accommodation in the middle of the Muria region at Mosa trajectum, contact me.

Well where to start we arrived on the 17th July 2015 and we depart tomorrow 31st July 2015. We rented a villa from a private owner called Erik and the website was called home away. In hindsight the description of the villa was quite vague with no real details about what the owners like about the villa and why they bought it and enjoy holidaying here.
I can answer those questions as it looks very un-lived in and it looks like we could be the first people this year to have stayed in the villa flamenco.
The whole site is very limited as far as things to do. There is only a pop up bar with free wifi in the central area that has TV, fuss ball and table tennis and two very welcoming hosts who arrange various evening events including bingo, paella night and the night after we go BBQ night.
The two ladies who run the bar are fantastic the are very welcoming and the wifi is great which is amazing as there is very little else here.
The closest shop is the petrol station just outside the entrance but it is great as it has fresh bread every day so worth the trip from the villa flamenco 5 minutes walk.
This may be making it sound a lot better than it is if you had googled it and seen some images when it was at its best about 10 years ago.
There is a lot of the resort that is not developed and the golf course is derelict as there has been know one one running it for years and years. As it has not been developed everything that was here has closed but it has been kept in quite good order saying it has been empty for years. There are not enough people staying here to have anything open that would make any money.
I think it would take €Millions to get it back to the good old days of 10 years ago and with there being a golf resort just up the road know one in their right mind would spend that money.
We had an empty villa (for years) next to us that had an empty pool and over grown garden but you just zone out from this as our villa was actually quite roomy and well kept in the circumstances.
In summary I have two children 15 and 18 and I am married and we were bored in the evening so we ended up driving to near by San Javier for anything to do in the evening or the day other than the bar.
If you want good value for money and a very quiet place to stay that is 15 minutes drive from anything else this would actually be a really nice place if you stay near the central area where we stayed but if you want what you have seen in most of the pictures for the villas that you can rent then try somewhere else but it will be almost twice the money.

Just returned from Mosa where everything was lovely! The house we rented was beautiful and we played 18 holes which were very good. Compared to the other two resorts locally, much preferred Mosa. The two bars/restaurants on site - Billie's Bar and the Parador restaurant were great - they have a lovely a la carte menu as well as an adequate bar menu. Our house owner made some great local suggestions for things to do and the house had a great manual with some excellent local recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc.
We have just booked to return in September when the weather will be a little cooler!

Collected food myself as previously delivered orders were only just warm. Waited 20 minutes for the food to arrive out of the kitchen Got home the food yet again was lukewarm
The curries were very runny containing not much meat at all the naan breads were cold and hard. This place seems to be going downhill a little. The food used to be very good...Sadly not anymore

As some of the reviews have already explained, as long as you know what to expect it’s fabulous! The golf course was bankrupt but has been resold and a great new 9 holes are open, with another 9 due to open soon. There is a golf hub with a lovely bar that serves superb food. There are, as yet, no shops or restaurants on site but the petrol station sells fresh baked bread and provisions and there is a restaurant directly opposite. You do need a car, Murcia city, which is stunning is 15 minutes away and the beach 20 mins. Cartagena, which is also really beautiful is about 25 minutes away. There is an excellent supermarket 10 minutes away. Everyone is really friendly. A super development that’s only going to get better!

2nd day in and this is terrible when I get home I will be naming and shaming owners that led us to believe this was a golf course that could be played... the course is derelict and not plsyable the course is in liquidation and the so called commercial centre is completely shut down and has been for over a year.... def need a car yo get around as in middle of nowhere. . Owners led us to believe all up and running and the info they sent us before I booked their booklet is nothing like whats here now the booklet is out dated by at least 2-3 years.. my husband has wanted to play golf abroad for 15 years and never got round to it... this was his 40th birthday present and has been spoilt. The whole place is a ghost town with hardly anyone around.. no one to tell u where things are. Pics to follow.. villa is nice but unless u want to stsy in villa or get a car to go out do NOT COME HERE.. we sre hard working people like most and this has been totally spoilt by owners of villa. Pictures to follow.....

First of all I can't believe what bad reviews people write. Mooning about that you need a car, any where in Spain you need to hire a car because it is a big country.
And that there is nothing to do on the MosaTrajerctum resort, which is completely NOT true.
There are tennis courts free of use, you can walk endlessly trough the near mountains, hiking, cycling etc. There is also a nice bar ruined by 2 very friendly ladies organizing every week several events specially in high season and next to the bar a small playing space for kids.
People that book directly by a owner always have problems see other comments.
My advise is book with a Company like Villa Solera Service. They tell you exactly what is and what isn't, so no surprises or disappointments.
Stay there 2 times 2016 and in 2017 and if you really like to relax this is one of the best places I have been.
I don't like stories of people that put a bad name on a nice place like this because they expected something else or are more All inclusive people hotel people that like to be pampered the whole day
This beautiful side of Spain, the Murcia area (Baños y Mendigo) is still authentic Spain and is not like a touristic fabric like Benidorm etc.
Here some facts:
By car:
Beaches within 20 minutes
Murcia city within 15 minutes
2 real good (cheap as well) Spanish restaurants in close range (1 walking distance 8 minutes)
-Big waterpark within 15 minutes
-Exclusive wine tour with fantastic lunch in Jumilla (half day trip)

My family stayed here august 25th-sept 1st. We were led to believe that this was a thriving PGA standard Golf resort with all the facilities that you would expect. Instead the place is rundown, deserted and the golf course is totally unplayable. The fairways do not appear to have been watered in months. The owner totally misled us when I questioned them before we went having read a previous review. A real shame because the villa itself was very nice but the purpose of the holiday was to play golf which meant we had to drive to nearby courses to play. Do not stay here until the place has had an injection of money.

The plaza bar and restaurant building is very quaint, however very basic menu . The whole complex is littered with derelict villas and building sites and a golf course that have long been abandoned, the one course that is still in use is pretty good but that's about it for this ghost town , there are far better courses in the mar menor area.

The place is dead and falling apart. In the middle of nowhere. Weeds growing through the tarmac on the roads. Terribly misled. Our two teenagers were devastated, as were we. The location completely spoilt our Holiday and we would never ever return. Very lonely at night. The Villa and pool were nice but the air con was metred! Locally one decent restaurant, nothing too special mind. We went to the supermarket suggested by the owner. Once and that was one too many times. We like a peaceful location but I've seen livelier cemeteries.

Hi. It is a lovely quiet place. There are holiday makers and a lot of them know the place. I'm selling mine because I don't use it much.
