Stayed for one night in April. Very characterful and historic house in quiet lane near good local pub. Breakfast was lovely and timing flexible. Jean the landlady gave us a lift to pick up our car which was over and beyond our expectations. A lovely place to stay. Would highly recommend.

We often stay here when up from Cornwall on business. The house just oozes character, all the rooms are comfortable, and Jean makes you and your pets feel exceptionally welcome. The breakfast is served to suit you, and you are spoilt for choice. The location is nice and quiet, yet convenient for travel into Oxford or London. I thoroughly recommend...

After a...

The owner Jean does her utmost to ensure you enjoy your stay in her home - and the local surrounding area. Home-cooked breakfasts are 'real' and with good ingredients and choices. Good local restaurants - especially the...

What a welcoming place to stay. The house is full of quirky historical details but really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with locally grown produce and we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. A real hidden gem!

If you ever dream of a 400 year old cottage and perfect hospitality, this is the place. Jean made us feel so welcome. We had two rooms on the upper floor, with comfy bed, wooden beams and a view to the thatched roof cottage across the street. Superb breakfast cooked to order with fresh produce. Highly recommended.
