We stayed here for two nights in the self catering unit.. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Whilst we did not cook in the room it was nice having a fridge and the ability to make hot drinks. We had dinner both nights which was really good value and included wine and water. Breakfast was a simple affair...

We had a very good room in the annexe which was only a short distance from the main house. Peter and Melanie were excellent hosts. Peter has a wonderful knowledge of the area in a good historical and cultural context. Without doubt a good place to be

Just back from a holiday organised by Naturetrek. The week long stay was designed to improve basic photographic skills, it was brilliant. Sergio was our tutor for the week and began each day with a tutorial followed by a field trip to practice our newly acquired skills. It was all about 'light and how to capture it.' Peter and Mel...

We stayed in the self-catering studio for the whole of the second week in June. Well appointed but compact with all you need, including a private patio. Everything of very good quality plus a daily cleaner, fresh towels, etc, which you don't get in many holiday flats. The whole area is deeply rural with rolling fields stretching down to the...

We stayed at the Casa Sarasa for a week of walking and sightseeing with Adagio Holidays ("The Aragon Pyrenees" trip). The accommodation was rustic in style, simple and comfortable. A lovely tranquil setting, we woke to the sound of nightingales. Between them our hosts, Peter and Mel, made sure we enjoyed an exceptional holiday. Mel’s breakfasts and evening meals (served...

We had seen the town of Berdún in 1989 and thought it would be nice to return. Finding this place on-line, we reserved. We were welcomed by some friendly big dogs and a nice bottle of wine. The hostess, Melanie, advised us where the only café was located and made us a great breakfast the next morning. She made the...

We have just returned from a Ramblers/Adagio: "The Aragon Pyrenees" holiday. Our base for the seven nights was the village of Berdun and the excellent Casa Sarasa. Casa Sarasa was the perfect base for exploring the area. Peter's extensive knowledge of the area really helped us to enjoy the natural beauty and human history of that part of the world....

Accommodation was perfect- simple, charming mural (green room). The garden and views completed this tranquil, delightful retreat- a breath of fresh air away from normal life/ chaos. Food was ample and delicious. The room was clean, uncluttered, roomy, the bed comfortable- just as you would want it- home from home. :) Mel and Peter were fabulous hosts- nothing was too much-...

Our well appointed studio ensuite came complete with tea-making facilities and hairdryer and with its own patio seating area suited our needs admirably. Our friendly hosts Peter and Melanie gave us good pointers for where to look for the fauna and flora we hoped to find which we used most successfully. The wider Berdun region has a natural and old...
