We would never have found this place without the help of Peru North who organised our trip for us - what a treat! Lovely hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff - the star of the show is the natural hot springs in which you can (and we did) spend hours at a time. The mineral-rich warm water is great...

This is a place, not easy to reach. We have rented a car in Lima and traveled through Perù (Paracas, Nazca, Arequipa, Colca, Puno, Cuzco) never meeting any serious problem in finding our directions except in this case. But the efforts are well rewarded: the hotel is not particularly luxurious, and all told is quite simple. But it is the...

After our day travelling around the Colca Canyon we arrived at our hotel and our only regret is we didn't get there earlier. Beautiful location. Great rooms and attentive staff. Quick bag drop to our room and then we headed to the hot springs which were lovely. We stayed in them till it turned dark. We headed to the bar...

me and my family loved this place! loved the hot springs, the rooms, the food, the care. absolutely lovely! The location of the lodge is amazing, with its view, and its proximity to the ruins... it was wonderful to just walk around and explore. we travelled with 2 kids (age 8 and 12), and we all LOVED it!

Colca Lodge and Spa is remote. 4 hrs. by road from the nearest airport Arequipa, and then another 1/2 hr. from the nearest town, Chivay, where restaurants and local music "hotspots" are located. So if you're expecting excitement and uninterrupted internet connectivity, don't come here, stay somewhere in Chivay. However, if you don't mind the remoteness and don't have expectations...

We stayed here for one night with our family (2 adults and 3 teenagers). It wasn't long enough and we wished from the moment we arrived that we were staying longer! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The rooms had two beds downstairs and two upstairs in the loft area. The bathroom was lovely and well appointed. The highlight of...

This lodge is in the middle of nowhere. If you come here to enjoy the natural surroundings and be in touch with nature, than it does not disappoint. It is the best accommodation in the surrounding area if you are to visit Colca canyon. Absence of TV, great mobile signal, or good wifi does not bother me the least. If...

This hotel was booked by our travel agent for a one night stay during our trip to Peru. Whilst it may be perfect for some people, it did not suit us. The accommodation is some distance from the main bar/restaurant building. There was no WiFI in the room and very poor internet in the bar, which crashed most of the...

It's quite difficult to get to, but once there you do feel you are at a special place. Rooms are spacious and the whole property has a really strong resort feel to it. Great noise insulation which was not usually the case with the other places we've visited in Peru. Loved the hot spring, which has a wonderful view of...

Other than the hot springs, there is a whole lot of Nothing else to do. A small trek if you're into that. Highly over priced room and followed by an over priced and small portioned dinner, which is the only food source without walking miles at that elevation. The drinks are strong but pretty expensive. The hot springs were nice...
