At the end of Japan vacation we stayed a couple of nights at the Shangri-La and this was clearly a highlight. From the start service level is at an amazing standard. Arriving at Tokyo station and being met by a representative of the hotel at the platform who showed us the way is a super service and on the way...

The hotel is located at a perfect location for visitors. The train station and the metro was just around the corner from the entrance and easy to access to visit other places in Japan. The staff will even escort you and carry your baggage all the way to the train platform. Areas with great restaurants and shopping are just walking...

Stayed recently for 3 nights during our holiday in Japan, stayed in a corner room on the 37th floor with a view overlooking the Imperial Palace. Room was very well laid out, spacious and very comfortable. We were on the same floor as the Horizon Club and were able to get breakfast there as well as evening drinks and snacks....

We loved this hotel, specially our view of the bay. We were greeted at the train by the staff and service all around was great. From concierge, to check in, to room service, everything excellent. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle to celebrate our trip. Thank you!

This is my 2nd stay in this hotel in 2 years and Shangri-La Tokyo continues to live up to its excellent reputation. This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the Tokyo city and it has lovely paintings adorning the walls of the hotel corridors. The hotel takes good care of their guests even prior to check in. My husband and I spent 4 nights in Apr 10-15 as part of our Tokyo trip. It was an extremely comfy one. The room we had was huge with a good view of the Skytree. The staff were attentive and courteous. The breakfast at the Piacere was delicious with enough options on buffet table though our order was mistaken once....

I travel extensively and can say without a doubt this is the best run hotel I've ever stayed in, and that includes other Shangri-La properties in Paris and London. This is a lesson on how to run a luxury hotel, everything from check-in (by the loverly Misako) to check out was perfection - 5 stars is not enough! The only...
