Honestly, I had never heard of the Shangri-La in Tokyo. Arrangements were made for a meeting and I found myself moving from Narita directly to the hotel. That's when a great experience began. Typical of the entry at any Japanese hotel, the greeting was warm and luggage was sent ahead. I was escorted to the 28th floor lobby and first...

Not that this hotel is by any means inexpensive... but its a great hotel. We had a lovely executive room on the 36th floor with great views of the imperial gardens. The club lounge staff is dramatically helpful and accommodating. If they didn't have immediate answers... it was no challenge to get them for you. We really felt like we...

From the moment we were greeted at the station to the moment we were farewelled on the platform bound for Narita - the service we experienced at the Shangri-La was nothing short of exceptional. Staying here was one of the highlights of our first family holiday in Japan. The three of us were very comfortable in a Deluxe room which...

Wonderful hotel in the center of Tokyo. We had a fantastic suite on the 32nd floor with huge windows overlooking the Tokyo skyline and the bay of Tokyo. The staff were the most fantastic and helpful we have ever met.

We thoroughly recommend this 5 star hotel especially Mai Ocani who initially was working in the Executive Club Lounge and later on concierge. Mai was friendly, charming, helpful and informative. Very nice upscale hotel so close to the Tokyo station. Literally just across a small street. The staff was courteous and helpful.
