This is a huge business hotel with all the disadvantages that that involves. If you like tired overpriced hotels with mediocre service then this is for you. The decor is a flashback to the 1980s when it was probably first built, and utterly uninspiring. Almost the best thing about it is the endless parades of brides and grooms who come...

The Imperial Hotel is well suited to some American business travelers. The rooms are larger than many Tokyo hotels. It is well situated if you are doing business in the Gonzalez district. There is an American diner in the hotel serving traditional American breakfasts (service at the restaurant not as good as expected). The hotel can be described as dated....

From check in to errands til check out, all the staff took care of us very well! They were all very professional and warm and really helpful! We were treated like a king the whole time we stayed. Though we had to wait before we get seated for breakfast since it was fullhouse, twas definitely worth the wait! Plus, the...

My family always stays in this hotel and believes that the service here never falters. The building itself is magnificent and well maintained. The rooms are adequately sized and reasonable for the price and location. I will be back here again!!

If you ever get the chance to stay at the Imperial, please do yourself a favor and stay. One of the most elegant well appointed hotels I have ever stayed in. You will not be disappointed. The staff and service are impeccable. The rooms are very spacious for Tokyo.

This is a true five star hotel. From the moment you walk in you will notice the attention to detail in service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big. With Big bathrooms and very good amenities. The only disappointment I had was the buffet breakfast. It was not that great. The Hotel is very central. A...

A beautifully appointed high end hotel with stylish interiors and bars. It is right by Tokyo station with Ginza just the other side of the tracks and the Imperial park across the road, making it the ideal Tokyo location. The accommodation is protected from train noise by part of the building which houses commercial space. With 20 restaurants the temptation...

The Imperial Hotel is a classic Tokyo establishment. While most of Frank Lloyd Wright designs are gone, it has evolved with the art deco theme to deliver elegance, class and wonderful service in a fantastic location. It is a large property, with many stores, restaurants and categories of room. True to Japanese reputation for perfection, it runs like clockwork. Its...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in December. It was our first time in Japan for us and we were in celebratory mood. This great historical hotel brought a unique sense of occasion: very tasteful Art Deco design especially inside the building, great rooms, impeccable, gracious and friendly service. Several restaurants though we only sampled two of them: a...
