Well one poor turn deserves another...after being treated like we were the enemy by staff because we dared to stay and have drinks whilst watching the sunset.. we chose not to eat at the teppanyaki restaurant! AVOID this hotel if you are not japanese!

stayed here for 3 nights with a travel group. Rooms are old fashioned and could do with some renovation. But as to be expected in Japan everything is very clean. Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of variety continental and Japanese food. However, the breakfast room is not very large and therefore I always had to wait to be seated.... More

Located in a quiet area (Kudanshita/Lidabashi), the hotel is clean, simple, quiet, the service is efficient, the staff friendly, affordable. they have nice restaurants. We had a good stay and would stay there again. There was air conditioning and the temperature fine. The surrounding area isn't very lively. The imperial palace and the national gallery of modern art is within... More

The hotel is really clean and with all you need in a hotel. The only problem is that it is located 10-15 minutes away from the JR station, which can be a pain for individual travelers since it is kind of far (further if you've been walking around Tokyo for the whole day!) However, if you're traveling with three people,... More

This was a very pleasant hotel with spacious interior and extremely helpful staff. We asked for a double bed and we got a fabulous large room on the top floor which was "gated" as most double rooms in Japan have single beds. We had a great view of the city lights at night, though by day it was shabby. Breakfast... More

The hotel is recommended for a nice and comfortable stay. Food is good. Staff is also well mannered. Interior of the rooms are well designed. The couch inside the room is very good for a siesta. Roof-top restaurant serves very tasty food. Value for money. Good for business travelers and families. Wifi speed is slow.

Nice and big hotel. Good location. It could be updated a bit, but it is very clean and practical. Nice restaurant at the top of the building. Friendly and polite staff. Good restaurants nearby and a metro stop just around the corner. Thanks for all!!!

Clean, very comfortable. Walking distance to a subway stop & to the Imperial Palace East Garden. Only negative is that there are no English TV channels, only local Japanese channels. No CNN, BBC or any English channels. Courteous & friendly staff. Highly Recommended.

The hotel is strategically located. There are a lot of ramen shops, sushi restaurants, convenient shops, etc. within walking distance. You may move around fairly well as it is near Kundashita and Iidabashi stations. The room was clean but require a refurbishment to keep up with the other newer hotels. The staffs were helpful especially those manning the Bell Captain... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
