This is just a business hotel, nothing bad and nothing good. Rooms are quite small, ok for a 3-4 days stay, definitely not for 1 months as i did. The hotel is clean, quiet and incredibly well located. The staff is kind as usual in Japan. Only "complain" is a bit expensive for the kind.

This is definitely a business hotel. There are no amenities. But it is right beside the Akabane JR station and lots of shops, restaurants, etc. There is a good night life here. The breakfast is cheap, 300 yen, and basic but good. There is no business centre, but there is Wifi. The rooms are pretty small and there is not...

I've arrived to the hotel at the morning which is yet to the check-in time, i leave my bags in the front desk and out for shopping, when i back to my room at night my bags already there. Bathroom is big comparatively in japan...

Akabane was located in the northern part of Tokyo. The train station had quite a number of lines running through it. It was an interesting town if you want to stay out of central Tokyo. The hotel was situated very close to the southern exit of the train station. It had a nice little cafe just next to it. Hours...

Very close to Akabane station, which is a short train ride away from other major stops. Hotel Mid is fairly reasonably priced for what you get, it's a typical prefab room with a slightly larger bathroom compared to other hotels we stayed at but is laid out in such a way that will provide ample space if you are tidy....

Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. Our hotel is only a 60 second walk away from the south exit of Akabane station. It is a very convenient location for travelling to Tokyo Station and Ueno, Ikebukuro, and towards Saitama. English-speaking staff is few, but we serve our customers with all our heart so that they can...

Have stayed in about ten hotels in Japan, including the Park Hyatt (very nice, but I'd rather have more trips to Japan than a cavernous bathroom I won't see that much anyway thank you!), and I would choose the Hotel Mid over any of them. For the price it is great - a good-sized room for a Japanese hotel and...

Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. It was really wonderful that you could see Mt. Fuji. You were very lucky! We are happy that you enjoyed our breakfast. Our hotel serves delicious additive-free bread and roasted coffee, salad, boiled eggs, and juice. It has been 5 years since our opening, but we still have a reputation...

We chose the Hotel Mid in Akabane-Ekimae to be closer to family living north of Tokyo, but discovered that the location is just as convenient for visiting all the major sites -- at rates significantly less expensive than properties in more popular areas like Shinjuku, Ginza or Ueno. The hotel is right next to Akabane Station with JR rail lines...

What can I say. This is my second stay in this hotel and still loving everything about it. Just near to the train. Got great restaurants with reasonable price. Shopping malls to shop for grocery...etc. It's just convenient. I got a special plan through their web. 6900yen/night with computer rental. It was the best offer. Though the offer was not...

Neighbourhood Profile
Akabane / Itabashi
In Akabane and Itabashi, visitors can get a glimpse of the ordinary day-to-day life of Tokyo. On the east side of Akabane station, there are many traditional shopping districts and small izakayas, while on the west side, there’s a modern shopping mall. Itabashi is currently being developed as a residential area with a huge 1.1km long shopping street that extends from east to west. Rows of shops and izakayas target the down to earth everyday needs of locals. Both Akabane and Itabashi are notable for their easy access to the city center as well as their proximity to Ikebukuro.
