it is a huge complex in itself.is in a very strategic position ,opp the railway station. make sure you are there for breakfast by 6am to avoid the large lines that build up. breakfast has an extensive spread....also note this hotel does not have room service, however there are several restaurants in the vicinity including MCDONALDS. the aqua park is...

This is my second time at Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Last time when I stayed in Annex Tower, the room was too small, so I was not considering to stay this hotel again, but I have decided to give it another try after finding out about N Tower, which is for business travelers. The N Tower is located on the nearest...

The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel with small rooms and an even smaller bathroom which is a built in cell ! The cleanliness of the shower and sink are ok , but not a five star quality. The hotel is very well connected to shinagawa station and has various shopping and dining around. Mid class hotel.

The hotel is in a good location but is huge and old. Still very clean though. I was in the Annex Tower which was along several corridors up several lifts. Hard to find your way around. Breakfast queues were unbelievable. 3 Star is right.

I have very few beefs with hotels in Japan. The business (budget) hotel experience is one that I love on occasion. I have been to both luxurious to budget and the gap is amazing. However, you can always depend on good service and kind people for an enjoyable experience. The Shinagawa Prince Hotel seems to be a failed experiment. From...

This hotel was about half an hour from the city counter. The railway station is very close by. It is a very large hotel with 4 towers. We were in the main tower. Our room was nice and clean however it had a slight smoke smell. Wifi was good in our room. There was plenty of variety in our buffet...

As always the Prince hotels in the Tokyo area are located in the best locations. This hotel is located just across the street from Shinagawa station. The first thing you will notice is that the rooms are small as to western hotels but every thin you need is there. If you have any questions I will be there in May...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
