very convenient hotel for tokyo, with high standards, close to metro station but also with free shuttle bus to megoru station and shigakawa. It has one of the best swimming pools i've ever seen in a hotel (for swimming). Several restaurants with japanese and continental breakfast, free internet, devoted staff, all in perfect order. I forgot something in the room...

A little far from the bustling street of central Tokyo, quiet and peaceful location. Shuttle bus are provided to Meguro and Shinagawa station every 15 min, very punctual and good service. Hotel is a little old but well maintain, rooms are small and has limited suite room, no upgrade for Platinum member to suite. Well facilitated with standard amenities. Breakfast...

Recently Refurbished the Sheraton is what you would expect from the brand. Nothing wow in the hardware, very clean with lovely Sheraton Sleeper Beds & very pleasant staff. Breakfast is limited and expensive if its not part of your room rate. You need to get a taxi or use the Shuttle to get to the closest train station. Westin is...

This hotel is very well maintained and set in quite part of Tokyo. Rooms are spacious, complementary WIFI worked good, room service very discrete and efficient. With breakfast hotel should be more creative, only 4 types of breakfast available. Standard Sheraton hotel with exceptional Japanese level of service. Highly recommended for any business traveler.

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
