We stayed at Hotel Monetery Akasaka our last night in Japan and compared to the other Tokyo hotel we stayed at in the beginning of our trip, this hotel was MUCH better. We were able to get our room at a competitive price (about $120)...More
This is a 3 1/2 star Hotel, very quite and in a very convenient location, is in Akasaka, next to Roppongi District, the room is average as all the japanese western rooms in Tokyo, but very clean. Very good customer Service from the Concierge at...More

Thank you for your recent stay at Hotel Monterey AKASAKA. We endeavor to provide refreshing hospitality to each and everyone of our guests during their stay.
We highly appreciate your comments about our convenient location, which is near the bayside resort line monorail station.
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.

I've only stayed here in the summer (and we were able to adjust the temperature for the room) but I have also stayed at Monterey Hotels in both Kyoto and Osaka during the winter and was able to adjust the room temperature no problem. Pretty sure it's the same for all hotels throughout the chain.
