Not too special except the friendly & helpful staffs. It's located nearby metro station (akebonobashi station). Surprisingly, the bed is big enough unlike in the picture which is good for those of you who are coming from Europe. Each floor has WiFi connection and there is a common area in the 9th floor which you can meet and talk with...

my wife enjoyed our stay at this hostel. The staff was extremely helpful. They all spoke english and well and were able to help us out with anything we asked. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Its a little crowded in the luggage/lockers area but thats a minor gripe. The location is pretty good. Theres not too...

I'm a girl. I've went to Tokyo alone and stayed at Ace Inn for a night. It's cheap and very close to subway. My room is a capsule with no any lock and door in the large room (There are so many capsules in the room and it's very close). It's just a tiny curtain as a room door !...

It's a cheap accommodation and the staff is very nice amd helpful, but (like in many cheap hostels) there are bed bugs which makes the next morning not so pleasent... Free wifi and tea in the common area. Towels and soup/shampoo are also provided.

I stayed here for my last night in Tokyo and didn't actually spend much time here but the time I did spend was quite pleasant. Pros-helpful staff, easy to meet people, free towels and showers, private capsule rooms, decent location being right across the street from a station, good price Cons, dirty, crowded locker area, no power plug ins in...

I stayed at Ace Inn twice during my time in Japan. It's comfortable, cheap and very close to the Toei Shinjuku line (this isn't a JR line though so if you have a JR pass you will still have to pay for a ticket). There is internet on every floor, free towels and the staff are friendly and helpful. There...

For the price quality I think it is pretty nice. It is a very good place for backpackers and young people. The only thing is that lockers are quite small, just enough to put ur personal effects , suitcases you will have to leave it outside. I would definetly come back to this place if I travel again to Tokyo.

This was the worst hostel experience I have ever had in my life. Me and my wife stayed for one night (even that was too much too handle) and I left broken and bruised. Broken because I fell down the stairs, and also bruised because my mattress was thin and made of horse hair. My wife didnt sleep because the...

Price, service, comfort, hygiene and even offer towels for free. One of the best money I found. Hostel frequented by people of many nationalities. The bath is also free although it seems that you pay.

My husband and I recently spent a month backpacking in Japan... we started in Tokyo at the Ace Inn. Not bad for the money in Tokyo... Pros: *The information on the website was great, so we had no problems getting from the airport to the front door. Saves a lot of headaches when you are tired! *Friendly and helpful staff......

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
