Stayed here for four nights. The front house staff was less than accomodating as we did not request a non smoking room and wasn't willing to change (despite having a vacant room) unless we pay an extra 36000 yen for the four nights. The whole hotel had a funny run down funky smell throughout with each floor having a distinct...

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The most noticeable thing was how quiet it ended up being. Despite being mere steps from the beating heart of Shinjuku (location: a huge plus on its own), we heard nary a sound inside the hotel. Furthermore, we did not hear any of our neighbours either (talking, TVs, toilets flushing, showers, etc) despite...

Hi! Thank you very much for your nice comment's to us. Our Hotel is located in the center of Shinjuku called "KABUKICHO" which you can experience a japanese culture like food, samurai museum, japanese style bar called "IZAKAYA”etc. If you enter the Hotel, you can't imagine that the location is the same because it is very quiet inside. We prepare...

It is situated in the busy center of Shinjuku while it retains its tranquility in the corner of the Kabukicho. Beds and pillows are very clean and tidy though the room is little bit small for 2 people with 24" luggage. Breakfast is also good money for value with only JPY 1000 for 2 on the first day , then...

The hotel was difficult to find with the front entrance in an alley. The room was comfortable and good value for Tokyo. Do not expect much other than a place to stay. The hotel has an oldish odor, not very pleasant. However the reception desk was excellent and friendly. Close to everything including a Family Marty convenient store.

Hotel Wing is located at a very convenience location, with plenty of restaurants around. Even though the room is a bit small, it's very clean. I appreciated the different complimentary hot drinks in the lobby (I went in late February), it was a pleasure having a cup of hot drink before and after the day trip, very refreshing. Also free...

The hotel was nice and small. A bit larger than what you would expect in Tokyo. My only disappointment was that there was no option to choose a non-smoking room. We were placed in a smoking room. Make sure you check before you book!

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
