Near Maruouchi line (Nishi Shinjuku), walkable distance to Shinjuku area, but situated just away from the hustle and bustle. Not a bad location. The room is small but that is expected for most Tokyo hotels, though i wished they at least had space for me to fully open my luggage.

PROS: Convenient location in Shinjuku, at about 10 minutes from the metro-train station and about 100 meters from a Marunochi line metro entrance (the actual stop is actually farther). The bed is comfortable enough, the room is clean and the cleaning service is OK. Quiet neighborhood w/o noises at night. CONS: Room and bathroom are very small and cramped (it...

Clean business hotel a short walk from main streets of shinjuku (restaurants, shops, bars, kareoke, bowling etc.). Short walk from shinjuku station and also another little subway station close by the hotel. Rooms aren't that big but that's just Tokyo in general. Hotels laundry room was being refurbished but laundry room is handy.

Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku has a good location. It is near the Tokyo Metro, just only walk for 2 minutes and you could access it. 7-11 and McDonald are near by. And the servers of reception are nice! They allow me to leave my luggage before I check in and after I check out. It is quite convenient for me.

Well located a few minutes walk from Shinjuku station, this hotel is perfect if you're traveling on a budget and need a clean simple place to stay. They don't offer much more than a very small room, but it was spotless and, I think, newly renovated. Good value for money in expensive Tokyo but a bit tight.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
