Stayed here for four nights with a friend. Had a twin room with a little balcony. It's about a 10 minute walk from Iidabashi JR train station but easy to find if you know where you're going. It's basic but clean and a bit roomier than most Japanese hotel rooms. Vending machines in the lobby have snack foods, soft drinks,...

We stayed 2 nights in mid-June. Having spent some previous time in very small (though nice) hotel rooms, we were pleasantly surprised by the room amenities available here. 10 minute walk from Iidabashi station was not inconvenient. Similar distance to main restaurant area made finding something to eat very easy. In-room wifi worked without a problem. A microwave was available,...

We were astonished about how big our room was, the biggest one we had in all our trip. Everything were provided, shampoo, body lotion, teeth brush, towels. We had tea and a small frigo. Nice price and staff was kind.

Indeed, this hotel might be a good solution for the generally very overpriced Tokyo hotels. However, the reality is slightly less brilliant than the pamphlet (internet) pictures. The hotel room we stayed in was spacious enough, however, the furniture seems to have had its best days now. The same for the bathroom. Nonetheless, this hotel gives a chance to have...

Thank you for staying at FLEXSTAY INN Iidabashi. Your comments are very much appreciated. Luckily we met a local that walked us to the hotel, otherwise we would have been looking for hours. Make sure you get a VERY detailed google map or similar. The place is tucked away in a back street, which also means it is nice and quiet. It is a fairly old building and there was a minor cigarette smell...

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
