We are a family of four who stayed here recently. We were upgraded to a suite which was as big as any hotel room I've ever stayed in and also had a great view of Tokyo. The room was set out like an apartment and was massive. Great for relaxing after a long day walking around the city. The hotel...

This nice hotel was clean, comfortable and had good views - we saw all the way over to mount Fuji one day. The breakfast was continental and just enough for us. Location close to one of the tube stations. To see most things in Tokyo the tube is needed. Would recommend this for a comfortable good value stay in Tokyo.

This hotel is so easy to get to from Shinjuku JR station. I've been told that it's easy to get lost and confuse in Shinjuku JR station, but I just hop off Narita Express from platform 5 and then walk a bit to platform 16, took a train just a stop, walk a bit, then I got to the hotel!!...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the start of our holiday. Our room was clean with a kitchenette and decent sized bathroom. It was cloudy most days but we did get a view of Mt Fuji late one afternoon from our room which was great. There is a supermarket nearby and lots of restaurants to choose from...

Stayed for four nights in September and found that this was the best hotel of our 12 night Japan tour! Fast check in by English speaking staff, room on higher floor with great city view looking towards Mt Fuji. The room was large, well equipped and very comfortable, nice bathroom too! Breakfast was simple (cerials, toast etc) got the day...

The staff is nice and professional; they speak perfect English The room was really nice and well equipped (Bose Home Cinema, Microwave, LED TV, comfortable bed) and the hotel was clean and quite. From my room in the 15th floor I didn't hear the train passing by every 2 minutes even if the train bridge was next to the hotel,...

Stayed at this hotel for a week last year and it was absolutely amazing. Its in a perfect location being so close to Shinjuku, rooms are very spacious. We got upgraded to an absolutely amazing room, with two bedrooms, living area, kitchen and two bathrooms. Views from windows were breathtaking. We got engaged in Tokyo, and I couldn't dreamed of...

Location is away from main Shinjuku area, which is quite good, as it is a quiet area. The building has residential condo units upto the 17th floor. Along the streets going to the hotel were a lot of restaurants, and there is a convenient store just beside it, which helps a lot if you need something anytime, not worrying where...

It's a cheap option to stay in with easy access to the train station.. With lots of restaurants and hotels.. There is a inexpensive food mall just 1 mins away and Coco curry house just 2 mins away.. But the rooms need cleaning it was dusty and even though we requested non-smoking room the room was stuffy and smelled of...

The hotel was awesome. It had a good location: The hotel is just 3 minutes from Okubo station, a stop away from Shinjuku, and had a lot of restaurants/grocery stores nearby. The staff spoke English, and were very helpful. The suite was big and spacious, but the dining table was too small. The televisions had good channels (e.g. Discovery). The...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
