Arrived in Japan very tired after a long flight and hotel allowed us into room at 1pm . All very clean and tidy very good and pleasant staff. The bedrooms are larger than the average size I have been used to in Japan. A lovely Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and others within short walk . Best way to...

It was really nice accomodation for me! Staff was very kind and they were really speaking english very well. Rooms were nice and clean. But internet connection was awful. I don't know why but the slowest speed i could see in tokyo was in my hotel, unfortunately.

The room has an average size which allows mobility of the guests. The hotel is strategically located near restaurants and convenience stores, although a relatively short walk to Yotsuya Station. The staff are accommodating and are ready to answer all your queries.

The Mitsui Garden Hotel branch in Yotsuya would be the perfect budget hotel for me -- nice lobby, clean and well-organised (albeit small) rooms, and great transit connections -- if it were not for the service I experienced there. I booked a room using Expedia and, my mistake, didn't realise that a double meant a tiny double bed rather than...

Loved this hotel - the room was of a decent size and both room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Not a speck of dust in the room nor a spot of mold anywhere in the bathroom. Kudos to their housekeeping staff for a job well done in cleaning the rooms so well! Although location of hotel was very close to...

A very comfortable stay at a lovely functional and comfortable hotel in the centre .... perfect for making a visit to Daisado or SGI or Soka Gakkai centres. The breakfast was an international buffet breakfast and very nice too

We stayed here for 9 days while visiting relatives and doing some sightseeing. We have travelled to Japan many times and lived there for several years. The hotel is situated on a main street (Shinjuku Ave.). The rooms are on the small side. If you have just carry on luggage you can stow that under the counter/desk so it won't...

I stayed at this hotel for a week in December 2015 over christmas. Hotel is situated in fairly quiet area in Yotsuya- Shinjuku. Personally, I preferred staying in this area rather than the really busy area of Shinjuku. Location; Very close to the station, about 5 min walk. Which was very handy as I used the metro to get from...

I have been to millions of Tokyo hotels, this one was one of my least favorites. The Pro's. -clean, good location to station, some decent eating places, nice staff. Con's--- small , like very, very small rooms, small for Tokyo standards. Two people can not be standing in the room at the same time. No real lobby, no place to...

Small functional rooms. Clean and neat. Great side street of restaurants nearby and close to stations. OK as a base for sight seeing but you wouldn't want to spend much time lounging around the room. Adequate.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
