From the very beginning to our departure and beyond, we were treated like royalty by the HOTEL* staff. We were greeted by a warm bellman as we exited our cab and our luggage was magically swept away. An absolutely lovely woman greeted us once again and guided us through the maze to registration. We had just travelled several hours from...

The hotel is very well located , 10 minutes walk to Shinjuku station, where you can find thousands of restaurants and thins to do. Is ten thousand times TIME SQUARE. If you think time square is impressive , you haven't seen nothing. Regarding the bright signs at night, everywhere, so your pictures are always colorful. Is very busy, but it...

Not much to say here except if in Tokyo go and stay, great hotel, service and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Great location for local transport connections to get you around Tokyo. Make sure to visit the pool and the New York Bar for a great cocktail.

Friendly staff, safe environment, really good food, and when the weather is clear you can see Mt. Fuji. Close to Shinjoku and other downtown area. Rooms are smaller than in other countries Park Hyatt, but compared to other hotels in Tokyo, the rooms are actually spacious.

After an incredible four night stay at the Park Hyatt Tokyo, it makes perfect sense to me what all the hype is about. Beyond its timeless design, unobstructed panoramic views and world class service, it is the city's most iconic hotel, a unique aspect that lures many guests to the property. And beyond all that, its just nice being there....

One night is not enough in this beautiful hotel. Perched high above Tokyo in the Shinjuku district, the Park Hyatt is plush and luxurious with views across the city from every vantage point. We chose a room overlooking the park. It is by no means inexpensive, it is one of the more expensive hotels made famous by Lost in Translation....

What can I say. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had! We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights at 30,000 points a night as a transfer from Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt. Everything from arrival to checkout was AMAZING!!! We requested one King and one 2 bedded room. Our teens actaully ended up with the better room...

I have stayed in the hotel as a guest 7 years ago and the rooms are modern and stylish and we were on the high floor, we had amazing views of the city. This trip we attended a wedding here and it was beautifully decorated, classy and the dishes served were very good. Service was great as well. Love the...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
