I've traveled quite a bit, with and without kids, and the Park Hyatt is simply the best I've encountered. From arrival to departure, it was amazing. We landed on an evening arrival from the US and out airport limo bus didn't arrive at the hotel until 11 pm. We were tired and our seven and nine year old kids more...

Japanese efficiency at his best ! Amazing view ! The gym probably offers the best view you could find in Tokyo. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We stayed 4 nights in December 2014, the staff was brilliant, giving useful indications and recommendations for restaurants and local activities.

We spent our last two nights here. After travelling around parts of Japan walking approx 55 miles in 10 days I certainly needed a rest. This was the place to do it. From check in to check out we have never received such amazing service. If I could give it 6 stars I would. All the staff are amazing. We...

The Park Hyatt Tokyo qualifies as a real 5 Star Hotel. Service is excellent and the facilities are nearly perfect. The location in Shinjuku is good for business but perhaps not the best for neighborhood walking or shopping. Food and beverage selections and variety is excellent. this hotel is rather "American" in orientation but the Japanese dedication to service and...

We stayed at Park Hyatt in Tokyo with our kids for 12 days and had an amazing time. The service in this hotel is absolutely spectacular! Rooms are large, great amenities, fantastic pool, Spa, restaurants, room service, housekeeping....just everything is great! the concierge service is exceptional and they would do anything for you. Would always go back when in Tokyo!

We spent 5 nights there, the view, breakfast buffet, New York Grill and staff service are very special. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at. The location is a little out of the activity, but easy walk or shuttle service to shinjuku station.

Simply put - the best hotel I've ever stayed at. From the feeling I got from walking into the lobby and reception from staff, to the rooms and general feel of the hotel. Would love to stay here again.

everything was perfect if we come again to Japan we will choose the Park Hyatt. We have other experiences in similar hotels in Tokyo and the are the best. They take care of us as if we were the only client as a VIP, but with simplicity.

We spent two nights at the Park Hyatt in the Shinjuku area in Tokyo. It is a well known hotel after the movie "Lost in translation" was filmed here. The standard is very good (though a bit outdated) and the service perfect. You get everything you need and much more. We had a great room with a stunning view out...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
