The location was good. Only a 10 min walk from all the main restaurants and shops and train station. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was nice. I stayed in the annex and the room was much smaller than I expected, but it worked. My only complaint is the beds and pillows are horrible. I stayed there...

Well maintained, clean hotel. It was always quiet and the staff were helpful when we required assistance. Its in a good location in walking distance from train and plenty of food and restaurants. Would go back there to stay.

Arrived here with my blog friends to the heart of Shinjuku. You find plenty of convenience store running 24hours, vending machine offering lots of choices nearby. The good? You stay near eateries and shopping dostricts. I think them being Jap, the room look really comfortable although it is average decent hotel. Free internet! Good for those who travel on budget.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Free wifi which didn't drop out and ran at a decent speed. Beds were comfy but could have used a second cushion. Staff spoke decent English and were very helpful. Really close to Golden Gai and lots of cafes, bars and restruants. Close to subway stations that connect to major lines. Very good stay!

The hotel is pretty clean and well maintained. It's located quite well and not far from the Shinjuku main station with lead to many of the Tokyo metro and trains lines. The staff speaks a very good english and is amazingly helpful with the customers. The room itself is not that big but fits pretty well the Japanese standards. It...

The hotel is located in Shinjuku but you need to walk about 15mins from the station to the hotel and bit far from the center of the Shinjuku.. If u are going back to Narita airport on your last day, please cater yourself for at least 30mins with your luggage to walk there and 1.5hrs from Shinjuku station to the...

I liked my stay at this hotel. Location is great, short walk from Shinjuku station. Room was nice, nice shower and bathroom, and the price was good compared to similar alternatives. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Many places are nearby for going out.

Room small, basically need to climb over bed to move around. We were given smoking room initially but been changed to non smoking when we complained. Never expect smoking allowed in hotel rooms. Location good. Disappointing in entrance carpet, looked wet and daggy. Breakfast good.

We stayed first time at this hotel and found we made the right choice. The price for three of us staying in one room was reasonable. The buffet breakfast was appropriate in terms of mixture of salad, bread and Japanese rice & congee. The staff at front desk and cafe restaurant were nice. We were particularly pleased with the housekeeping...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
