This hotel is great for those travellers who don't mind a small space. It offers an adequate space for 2 persons in each room with complete necessities. Included are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, showercap, comb, loofah, hair dryer, comfy slippers, toothbrush/paste, coffee, electric kettle. Almost complete that you don't need to worry about packing some with you on travel. Breakfast... More

Hotel 3 mm walk from Waseda station - From there you can go directly to Yoyogi, Shinjuku etc ... Bedrooms are well organized despite the small space. Bathroom well equipped and super tiny! As usual in Japan you have a razor, a new toothbrush and toothpaste as a standard .. Breakfast is good here - you will find Japanese and... More

Hotel and extremely well located, across the street from Takadanobaba Station, which provides easy access for all your train travels. The staff was very nice and the it was nice having toothbrushes, pajamas, and slippers all provided on a daily basis. Stayed here for 2 weeks and plan on staying here again the next time I'm in Tokyo!

This is honestly the smallest hotel room I've even seen in my life. This is even smaller than those in Singapore of the same value. But it was very functional, so I don't care at all. I traveled with family, including two 5yr old twins. We had to sleep opposite the right direction of the bed - our feet were... More

Less than three minutes walk from the train station. Excellent 24 hours grocery store just outside hotel. Fast food such KFC and Burger King at your doorsteps. There is also a $2shop across the road. Love the location, a few stops away from harajuku, shibuya, etc. Small room but the location make IT for the small space.

We chose this hotel as it was the nearest we could find to Waseda University, which we needed to be close to. The location of this hotel is great. Only two stops from Shinjuku station, and about 100 metres from Takadanobaba station. We found our way there after arriving at Tokyo station by Shinkansen from Kyoto very easily. It is... More

Location is very convenient next to train station. Everything is very small: TV, Hotel room, toilet. Quite convenient for restaurants and fast food centers. Value for money. Staff can not speak fluent English. Service levels can be improved. Internet is very slow.

This hotel is 3 minutes walk from Takadanobaba station. You can never be hungry if you stay at this hotel. McDonald's, Burger King, Yoshinoya, 7Eleven and many more are reachable within 5 minutes walk. Next to the hotel is Okasi no Machioka, a shop that sells cheap sweets and snacks. And next to this shop is a discount store called... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

“Not sure if this is only the case when booking singles, but the bathroom has a clear glass door and a picture window overlooking the sleeping area. Odd I know, but I think otherwise the room would likely feel very claustrophobic. This little architectural nuance could prove problematic if you are on a budget and sharing with someone with whom you are not intimate.”
