This hotel fit the bill perfectly for us in Tokyo: convenient location, safe, well-kept, reasonable price. It's very, very convenient to the Higashi-Shinjuku subway station where you can access the Oedo and Fukutoshin lines directly. This was perhaps the biggest asset for us. We encountered friendly service, good English, and a clean room. Like most Tokyo hotels, temper your expectations...

This hotel made the perfect base during our 4 days in Shinjuku. The hotel is right next to a subway stop or a 15 min walk from the Shinjuku station. Staff at checkin were great. Very please with the room. Clean and modern. Super fast internet. The hotel is located next to a restaurant, which we did not use. I...

Location is good, just that do not provide extra pillows. the bed is kind a small. Rejected by the staffs when I wanted to have 2 more pillows. I do not try the hotel breakfast, but the room dinner/order is quite good.

Based on the feedback by many reviewers, I decided to stay in this hotel. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Often I stop over their counter to check on routes and places of interest and the staff really helped me. The room was well-kept. Daily housekeeping. Refreshment were fulfilled daily. Kettle for boiling water. No mineral water though. Toiletries were...

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights (10-16 Apr). Hotel room was clean, bathroom size is clean and ok but the free TV channel offering was too limited. Check in staff Ms. Yoshida was very helpful and courteous. Because we expected the bed for couples to be small therefore we stayed in twin bed room, which is spacious enough considering...

Very clean and comfortable. We like the eco-clean option. We only wished the eco-clean option included re-filling tea and sugar as we didn't need a full clean everyday, but did want tea for the mornings. Otherwise a great choice and excellent location. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

This hotel is located right next to the subway station oedo line and fukutoshin line which it connects also via one stop away to the shinjuku and the marounuchi lines. This makes convenient for traveling in Tokyo. The hotel itself is also located near McDonald's and several convenience stores (7/11, lawson and family mart) and supermarkets (coop and fine foods)....

This was our last stay in Japan and found this hotel extremely convenient. Next door was the train station. Anytime Fitness gym (if you need this while away) was couple hundred metres up the street. Family mart, Lawson, 7/11 were all just 1min walk away. 10min walk into the night life of kabukicho and Shinjuku. Our room was the standard...

Well we have just left Tokyo after spending 12 nights in this hotel spread over 2 stints of 6 days week. So this review is an overall feedback of our stay of my wife and self. We booked our stay through the hotel's website which is really easy to manoeuvre around. You can actually get a view of the room...

This hotel makes us so welcome the moment we stepped in! The staff on duty, Mr Ohira Yasushi, was very efficient and helpful by assisting us to call and speak to the local guide on the changes to our tour pickup point. As we had only reached the hotel late evening, he also recommended us some good eateries for dining!...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
