In a room for 4, space is limited I barely had space to even place my luggage. The Japanese style mattress was confortable though. The staff wasn't so friendly and had very little command of English. Apart from its cleanliness & location, I don't think I will consider this place.

Stayed for 9 nights from 10-19 Mar. Mrs Chan is nice. Toilets/Bathrooms are always clean which time we (4 of us) uses it. I am really impressed how Mrs Chan and her team keeps the place so neat & clean. Plenty of eateries around (cheap abt 380 yen for curry rice), Family Mart & 7-11 just across the street. Property...

4 adults & 3 kids (9, 6, 5 yos)... not an easy number to arrange accommodation for if you've been researching inexpensive accommodation in Tokyo, especially the part about how to accommodate the 3rd kid. Tokyo House Ikebukuro had the right configuration of rooms - we stayed in a 3-tatami room with attached bathroom and a 4-tatami room without the...

I stayed in the ensuite annex Japanese room with my family. The map given a bit confusing at first but the location is easy when you are used to the road the next day. I regret bringing the trolley bag and wished that I brought a backback since you have to walk quite a distance to the guesthouse. It's not...

The location is great, very close to subway station. The room was stink. There were hairs on the blanket since check-in, seemed like they didn't change the blanket from the previous guest. It's cheap though, but I think we can stay at the same price for a clean room. The great thing is they provided free washing machine!!!!

Although I saw the House at Googles map, I was surprised when I first saw it because it really was a house! The check in was prompt by a male staff who had a good command of English. Our room, if I may quote my daughter was extremely cute. The TV and the deskstop did not work but it did...

I book this place about a month before my trip. They only had rooms for 3 of the 4 nights I am staying in Tokyo. They provided names to a few other ryokan's near by. But about a week before my trip, they were able to confirm for all of the 4 nights. We only spent 10k Yen per person...

My wife wasn't feeling good about having a room without attached bathroom (since there's none available during my time of reservation). But upon arriving, checking upon our room, it all just look so nice. The shared bathrooms were very very clean and it all just look so tidy and neat. My wife just gave the nods to stay for 3...
