Needed to stay in the area for one night and luckily found Ferndale house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, very clean and the breakfast was good with good flexibility on time. Would definitely stay again.

This was our 3rd time at Ferndale House. We received the same high standard, cleanliness, friendliness and hospitality as before. Breakfast was just right with plenty of choice. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the owner. We stayed in the garden lodge with our dog. It has everything you need and is very comfortable and extremely clean. We loved the kind gesture of the dog biscuits/muffins and bottled water. There's forest walks a few yards up the road. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it....

This was a last-minute decision to stay in the Forest for the night so that I could arrive early the next morning at my mum's house nearby for her birthday. Ferndale House was in a quiet location just minutes away, and was easy to find. I was warmly welcomed late in the evening after a long, long journey by the...

I booked this as I had planned a mini vacation, mountain in Wales and the Forest of Dean. I booked though hotels.com mainly because of the easy and my laziness. I arrived covered in mud (of course it decided to rain that day!) wasn't a problem at all. Not even an eyebrow raised! Room was very clean and well presented....
