There were 7 of us in our party, and everyone was well catered for, the grandchildren had a play area inside the pub, (A big bonus on an autumn evening), my husband and I had the lovely open fire to sit by and chat, and there was a pool table for our sons and daughter in law. Stewart and his...

Nice peaceful country pub. Comfortable room. Interesting memorial to the USAF WW2 bomber group that was stationed there. Well kept beer. Only disappointment was cooked breakfast wasn't served until 8:30 which was too late for me. The staff did give me a breakfast basket though and put me up on Monday night when they weren't actually open.

Went on a Wednesday night and had their Fish and Chips, excellent, lovely crispy batter and great chips, rest of menu was very tempting. Great beer, Buntingford Twitchel plus others. Service with a smile. We will be back. John Salmon

The amount of food is perfect and even the childs roast is great for our daughter (age 4). Although i am not one for a...

Worth a stop! Great food and beer. There is a small, new museum to honor the American Air Force 398th Bomb Group of the Second World War. The pub is historic and the curators are very proud. Two war memorials and its nearby IWM Duxford American Air Museum.

This pub, if you can find it, offers everything that you would want from a traditional Country pub. It offers an authentic traditional interior with welcoming fireplace together with a fabulous extension suitable for large family dining. There is a great children's play area outside and a pool table Inside. The food is not pretentious or fussy, just good old...

Good menu with quality produce. Venison was excellent as was the pork roast. Also: partner is a vegetarian and she certainly enjoyed the halloumi. Gods value and, as always, a good selection of well kept ales.
