We stopped for coffee and a sandwich and cake (!); Richard was host and greeter and house historian; the cafetière coffee was perfect and perfectly served with generous refills; the highlight was the open crab sandwich - the crab was fresh and served on home made brown bread with a selection of greens and Marie Rose sauce. We finished with...

Lovely small menu with something to suit all tastes. Sweet potatoe soup with a lovely nut and seed brown bread was delicious as was divine chocolate biscuit cake. Lovely warm, buzzy atmosphere on a rainy day.

Such a warm and welcoming guest house. Richard couldn't do enough for us. A great host. So relaxing and comfortable. Food to die for, with gorgeous homemade jams and pastries. Delicious coffee. Beautiful location. You won't be disappointed with a stay here. Highly recommend!

Gem of a guest house I the beautiful location. Two dublin guys running an old house with the best of food and comfort. The ex shelbourne pastry chef home bakes breads and cakes for the best afternoon tea in west Cork. Accommodation is very comfortable - right beside a lovely local pub where you can go for dinner.

This place is perfect for a village like Courtmacsherry. It has everything you'd need really and the owners are excellently placed at their jobs. You won't be disappointed. Also, there is a personalised poem of mine which I created for the business hopefully going up on the wall, so that'll be kinda cool too and an absolute privilege. Cheers guys,...

Went sea fishing in this beautiful bay, and stayed in this B+B. It's a nice old house, my bedroom was quiet and clean, the owners are fun. They also kept my 2 Sea bass in their commercial fridge overnight. So all in all I would recommend the place very highly and it's a place for singles couples, hardly kids I hope!...

We had lunch there on two occasions in the same week. Wonderful chowder .Gourmet sandwiches and gateaux to die for. Not to mention the banter. Also their brown bread is delicious. We purchased 3 loaves the day of our departure. Well worth a visit.

We recently had a fabulous weekend in Richard and Brendan's great B and B. Very welcoming, irreverent fun and lots of laughter. Room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was amazing. Gorgeous porridge, rhubarb and ginger compote, homemade brown bread, croissants and a wonderful made to order 'fry'. Brendan is a wonder in the kitchen and his cakes are...
