This little restaurant really deserves to be in a bigger centre than Hainburg Austria but there it is. We hoped to sit on the riverfront patio but it was full. Since we'd been cycling alongside the Danube for a couple weeks, we figured we may as well sit inside but as we headed in we got a bonus! There's a... More

This restaurant is going to be our new most favorite spot in this area! Excellent, regional and tasty food and the owners are really very nice! Vielen Dank Michaela für die nette und so herzliche Gastfreundschaft ! :-). Freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch! :-)

We spent almost a week in the hotel, in the romantic room. The hotel has a terrace with magnificent views on the Danube. Although it was the end of October, we had lunch a few times on the terrace. There is a train between the hotel and the terrace but the beauty of the old building compensates this. We recommend... More

We stayed for two nights in two-room apartment. I appreciate helpful and kind staff and perfect chef. Railway is really close but we had no problem with this; also 14month old son was sleeping well :)

While the hotel is old like about400 years it is clean and tidy well maintained good staff and it is 20 minutes by car to Bratislava 1 hour by train to Vienna and has its own walled city.It has safe off street parking and access. The restaurant serves great food .And if you feel like a wine by the Danube as... It looks charming, but the location is terrible (see reviews regarding trains). Also, the owner/manager was passive aggressive, does not like Americans (she basically told us this), and tried to shame us for something we did not do. We are polite experienced travelers with positive attitudes. It was appalling.

We stayed for 4 nights , as there were no pictures of the hotel you did not know what was coming. The trains started at 4 am. and they nearly went through your room. It is a simple hotel, the food is good , but not as good as to forget the rest. Also we had moskitos in the room.
