Getting to BREC is hard it used to take 45 minutes to reach here but now its shorteded to 30 minutes. Make sure to bring loads of insect repellen, its not a relaxing holiday persay its a adreniline pumped one. If you like being in an isolated community youd love it here. Doesn't have electricity till 6p.m., the water is always failling, a LOT of bugs of any tipe, it is in the middle of nothing and you don't have anything to do during the day. The rooms are very durty and the water of the "pool" is GREEN. In resume: NEVER GO THERE.

Getting to Balung is a big problem. Taxis from Tawau charge RM60- RM80 one way coz there's a 45 minutes stretch of gravel road into the plantation. Staffs there were friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and air conditioned. TV and mini bar are located at the common area. However, facilities are very run down. It is a far...
