What a great reception we got from the very nice friendly owner. He offered to air our tent on his washing line and wouldn't take payment for my son only to then offer us a caravan which was very basic but a welcome break from the tent. showers were great very clean and even DVD and books to borrow. Loved...

we stayed here as part of our coast to coast camping trip. When we got there Pete (the owner) welcomed us and offered us an upgrade to a mobile caravan. A bed, somewhere to sit, electricity and our own toilet was very welcome after 7 nights in a two man tent. The setting was idyllic and the facilities were great....

This is a lovely quiet and tranquil site set in stunning scenery. Being close to beautiful Reeth and Grinton there is no shortage of good pubs etc. Peter is a real gent and on hand what seems like 24/7 to make sure the site and its occupants want for nothing. We took our 2 dogs (plenty of walks from the...

I stopped here while doing the C2C trail in the hopes of camping but was offered a caravan for the same price, needles to say I accepted and a had a very pleasant night. The place is really pretty and the common restrooms are clean and spacious. The owners are very nice and helpful.

This lovely small campsite is tucked away off the road opposite the shop on the corner. We have used it many times as. Duke of Edinburgh Award Group with our Gold teams. The couple who own it are very nice & helpful the site is flat to pitch and there are adequate washroom facilities.

After an unfortunate first attempt at camping in the Dales, we were left without accommodation for the bank holiday weekend. Turning up unannounced we desperately needed a pitch for two nights. Peter (the owner) could not have been more accommodating. We had a pleasant two nights stay in the Orchard Caravan Park, which although full was quiet and relaxing. The...
