Staying here for two nights. I find the reproductions a little over the top but the hotel has a good location close to the Plaza Mayor, and the room is comfortable. I particularly like the firm bed and the bath tub. But like many washrooms in Europe, it has a glass half-wall that doesn't stop the water from spraying when... More

very convenient hotel where you could park outside, in a beautiful old building. The restaurant is down the street. The hotel opens onto the main street which is very narrow to avoid the heat, in the Roman way.

Good location. Safe parking, comfortable hotel just off a beautiful square, lovely decor, friendly staff. Plenty to see in this lovely town. Some excellent tapas bars and restaurants. Will definitely visit again.

The location at start of the superb main street was great. The public areas, particularly the wooden carved staircase, were very nice. We had a large room with 4 poster bed and two comfortable chairs and a desk. The large bathroom was stuffed with lots of nice gels and shampoos, even bathrobes. We had a room that was well back... The front of the hotel faces the main N122 road while the back leads onto the pedestrianised street a few yards from the Plaza Mayor. There are plenty of parking spaces outside the hotel and walking round the town centre is very easy. The rooms are fine and the atmoshere is upmarket olde worlde. Don't confuse the hotel with the restaurant... More

We liked the large room (4 poster) and solid feel to the place with some lovely features. Good parking and access to the town with fab restaurant just a short walk up the road. Perfect for a one night stop for us. We didn't use the bar but found some in the town.

The employees of the hotel are very friendly and willing to help you. You can park your car in front of the hotel's parking lot outside for free or in the parking situated underground... More

Without doubt the star attraction of this hotel is the magnificent staircase that sweeps up from the lobby and curls round a huge chandelier. The location is excellent and it has a decent bar. Our room was clean and spacious with a good view of the main square. The staff were pretty indifferent and not too helpful. We got a... More

This hotel,s rooms have all the amenities. The bar/cafe is very spanish and comfortable, used by all the locals. There is a lady who polishes the wood ( which is everywhere ) to a high gloss shine. Victorian inside. The breakfasts are good. Hotel restaurant is 200 yards up the street. See my review. Car parking free at the front... More

Clean and well-positioned but faded, especially public areas. Better choices on the same street, or the Rivera del Duero in nearby San Esteban.
