Well located, beautiful views. Comfortable, clean and good service. We will repeat. Good price for a nice stay, we didn't miss anything. Easy to park around and right in the town, only five minutes by car from the National Park.

Came in October with my daughter and we have had a lovely relaxed stay. Please remember it is a hostel, not a hotel and by that standard it is very good. The room was very clean and warm with a small seating area outside the room. The area surrounding the hostel is stunningly beautiful. We were there in both rain...

I never actually spent the night here. The way reception staff checked me in was already a complete turnoff, thoroughly sloppy and unprofessional, but when I saw my dorm and their interpretation of housekeeping I walked out. It seems that these guys are new to the hotel business and they are still learning the ropes.

This person never stayed in our hostel or ever had the intention of being a client. He came to do a job for building a new hostel in the area. When he arrived I was not present he was shown to his shared room with other working staff, who did not have there personal room clean. This person got angry...

Confortable and affordable hostel, pet-friendly, nice wooden rooms. Basic self-catered breakfast. It's got a communal kitchen with everything to prepare your own food. Close to the ski resort, Aigües Tortes national park and beautiful romanesque church of Sant Climent. Highly recommendable.

Small & cozy room, good location with excellent view of the village (both churches) and the surrounding mountains. Next to best restaurant in village (El Caliu). Breakfast could be improved. (Stayed here last year.)

The hostel was stunning! The view from the door of my hostel was amazing! For the price compared to most hostels I have been to this one was such a great value. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are large, free breakfast, the hosts were so kind and gave me helpful tips on where to go! I also got a discount...

Traveled here with a group of students and five adults. We were accommodated in all the rooms, including the suite, which was quite plush. The students found their rooms cozy and wonderful - the bunk beds are built in, in creative ways. The showers were great. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh and tasty. We had dinner at the associated...

I stayed four nights in the hostel and had such a peaceful stay. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. There are many great hikes nearby and the views from the property are lovely. The breakfast was fantasic...nice freshly baked bread, coffee/tea, yogurt, and more, and everything was very clean. The hostel is a great value!

Set on the side of a steep hill in Taüll in the Spanish Pyrenees, Alberg Taüll is a lovely hostel owned and operated by American born Tony. Some of the rooms are more hostel-like, but my wife and I splurged for €85 on the suite. Complete with jacuzzi for two, king bed, tv, wood fired stove and a fridge, Tony...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Alberg Taull hostel is the first hostel to open its' doors in the picturesque village of Taull, in the Vall de Boi in the Catalan Pyrenees. The hostel has 8 double beds and 15 singles, giving it a total capacity of 31 guests across 8 comfortable rooms. There are three double rooms, each with a double bed measuring 150x200cm and a single bunk-bed above measuring 90x200cm.One room has five single beds perfect for backpackers and groups, one room has one bunk-bed for two guests. The largest room of all is perfect for a group of couples or friends, with three double beds and one single. The newest addition to the hostel is a romantic suite with a jacuzzi, fire place, sofa, t.V., Fridgerator and mini-bar, with room service for breakfast. Each room has its' own private bathroom, and there is a common area for the use of all guests where we serve breakfast each morning and where they can also heat their own food. There are four sofas in the common area, a television, and a selection of board games so that guests can relax and enjoy their time out.In Alberg Taull, our main concern is the comfort of our guests. With this in mind we have put viscoelastic "memory-foam" mattresses on all of the beds, assuring that they will wake up in the morning feeling one-hundred percent rested. Moreover, when our guests wake up in the morning and make their way to the ensuite, they will discover spacious showers with hot water throughout the day, and so they won't feel the cold even in their toes, we have installed a state-of-the-art central heating system underneath the floor! That said, we don't for one moment forget our obligation to the environment, and for this reason we have installed a renewable energy Thermo-Air system which reduces our use of gas and electricity by an amazing 40%! In Alberg Taull, we don't just want to provide an economic option for our guests... The owner of the hostel spent seven years travelling the world, nearly always staying in hostels, and as a result of this he has learned that a hostel is not just a place for backpackers, but for any person who wishes to travel and meet people from all parts of the world and share their experiences with them, people who share one same fantastic experience - that of travel, and discovery. In Alberg Taull, we inform our guests of all the activities available to them in the Vall de Boi, such as: skiing, snow-raquets, paragliding, canyoning, trekking, horse-riding, guides to accompany visits to the Aiguestortes National Park or in the search for wild mushrooms, or whichever activity might interest them! ... more   less
