At the pricey end of the market but really worth it for a lovely stay. Great breakfast. Loved the bar in the evening and the friendly owners. The room was clean and very comfortable and stylish. Would eat here in the evening in future too.
Disappointing albeit could not really fault cleanliness and food. Just poor value at £130 BandB and over pretentious. Trying to be a "boutique" BandB but still poor value. 125 glass of wine £5.50!! Also better directions needed to find Woodlands. Suggest you try the Hart...More

Hi Muddyboot, It wasn't New Year, it was the night before, if it hadn't have been for the group that were staying there it would have been lovely & I doubt they'll be staying there so soon again. I did report it to the young girl at breakfast who was going to let Caroline know, I am sure Caroline would know who was staying on the 30th Nov, you could ask her if they'll be there or not when you book, hopefully they aren't regulars otherwise it would spoil what is a beautiful little place! Good luck

Hi I am sure if you ask Caroline the question she will be happy to accomodate, but cannot answer for the owner.
They do take dogs in the school house accomodation so worth a call, can only ask...
Hope this helps.
